From stage to stone: Vanbrugh’s vision at Kimbolton Castle
In 2026, Kimbolton Castle will be one of just six landmark houses featured in the national VANBRUGH300 programme, presented by The Georgian Group and supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
As part of this celebration, Kimbolton School will host exhibitions, public talks, workshops, and educational initiatives — opening up Vanbrugh’s legacy to students, visitors, and the wider community.
This year-long festival will be marked across the UK, shining a spotlight on Sir John Vanbrugh’s life, politics, and architecture.
