Highlights of Vanbrugh 300 at Kimbolton
In 2026, Kimbolton Castle will be one of just six landmark houses featured in the national VANBRUGH300 programme, presented by The Georgian Group and supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This year-long festival marks the 300th anniversary of the death of Sir John Vanbrugh — playwright, politician, and architect of Kimbolton’s great rebuilding.
Throughout the year, Kimbolton School will host exhibitions, talks, workshops, and community activities, bringing Vanbrugh’s extraordinary legacy to life for students, visitors, and local audiences.
